This one-hour presentation aims to educate the athletic community on the dynamics in youth sports that may lead to physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse. Peers, the power differential, what we currently know about abuse in sport, disclosure and preventative measures are just a few of many topics we will address. We will discuss how abuse happens in sport and how to identify behaviors and situations harmful for athletes. We welcome coaches of all sports, concerned parents and community members, referees, trainers or anyone wanting to learning more.

After the presentation there will be a short break followed by a 30 minute question-answer session.

October 13th Protect The House (PTH) Anti-Bullying Education Program begins its 8 week session. Every Monday for 8 weeks, 7:45-8:45pm. Enrollment closes after the session begins.
